On October 16-17, 2015, St. John Neumann parish in Gaithersburg, MD celebrated a Mini-Congress on the Family with the title “Let Us Build A Civilization of Love: The Gift and Task of the Second Vatican Council for Our Families. The Congress had acclaimed speakers such as Dr. Helen Alvaré and Dr. Scott Hahn. Fr. Avelino gave a reflection during the Mini-Congress entitled, St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans and the Radical Call to Holiness of Life.
